All Kubu furniture is made in Indonesia by skilled craftsmen using only sustainable hardwoods. All wood is 100% kiln dried ensuring strength and longevity, quality control is undertaken by our own experienced staff. The furniture is coloured with wood stain then a high grade wax polish is used to give a resistant and natural finish.
The furniture is constructed using a combination of Mindi Wood (A tropical hardwood also known as Vietnamese Oak-Similar to American Oak-dense and open grained) for the frame and legs. Teak block (sections of solid wood sandwiched in a durable and attractive teak veneer) is used for larger surfaces guaranteeing no movement (bending or cracking) even over time.
